Chickasha Business Expansion Grant Program
Apply to the Chickasha Economic Development Council (CEDC) to be considered for this program. This program provides financial assistance to businesses within the city limits of Chickasha that are expanding and creating new jobs, while facing a large capital investment. Businesses must have been operating a minimum of five (5) years within the city limits of Chickasha.
Applicants must be adding a minimum of ten (10) jobs locally and be making a capital investment of a minimum half million dollars ($500,000) to their facility. Grants are connected to investments. Capital investments may be eligible for a 2% of investment grant on the first $500,000. Additional capital investments beyond $500,000 may be eligible for a 1% grant, with a hard cap of $20,000 in grant funding.
Job growth must be validated within 1 year of the grant award. Applicants will be expected to provide a list of new hires as well as receipts demonstrating that investment requirements have been met.
Applicants must submit to the CEDC an expansion plan detailing the purpose, function, expected jobs created, and budget of the expanding business. Additionally, they must indicate the amount they are seeking, and how the funds will be used if approved.
All applications will be reviewed by CEDC staff and considered by the Board of Directors for approval based on the degree to which they align with the criteria and intention of the program. Approval will also be based on available funding and will be on a first come, first serve basis. The CEDC reserves the sole authority to accept or reject applications based on what it views to be in the best interest of the City of Chickasha.
