Commercial and Retail Developments
Downtown Developments
Chickasha’s historic downtown is growing! The EDC is placing special importance on improving the downtown district. Both existing and newly constructed buildings are available for sale or lease along Chickasha Avenue. Visitors are drawn to downtown for numerous events throughout the year. Our downtown has food (such as BJ’s Pizza and the Crazy 8 Cafe), drinks (such as the Canadian River Brewing Co. and The Speak), shopping (including Perefitte Home & Gifts and Tammie’s Bling), and culture (with the newly opened Science & Arts Art Wrecker building).
The Chickasha Community Foundation is entering Phase 2 of the construction of the new urban park. $1.4 million in private donations funded Phase 1, which included the Science & Arts Art Plaza, remodeling of the freight building, and yes, the 50-foot leg lamp sculpture.

Town’s End
Town’s End Stillhouse & Grill has announced a $5.5 million investment in the area surrounding the historic Rock Island Depot at 1st & Chickasha. Current plans include a stillhouse & restaurant, a coffeehouse, and a retail development (all incorporating existing structures), as well as a new hotel and a pedestrian bridge to connect the Grady County Fairgrounds to downtown.
South Chickasha Retail
There are multiple opportunities for retailers in South Chickasha. The Southland Shopping Center, Shoppes at Chisholm Trail, and Chickasha Crossing all have spaces available for lease. This trade area captures local consumers from a wide radius around Chickasha as well as thru traffic from Interstate 44 and U.S. Highway 81.
The Woodlands is currently under construction at the busy 4th & Grand intersection and has 14 lots available for purchase. This is a multi-use development that is planned to involve retail, commercial, and residential development. Across the street, Roaster’s Market is expanding into Chickasha with construction of a new facility.

Hospitality & Dining
Events year-round at the Grady County Fairgrounds and the Chickasha Sports Complex, plus other special events and general business travel, are creating a need for more dining and lodging options in Chickasha. A new Best Western recently opened on Grand Ave. and another hotel is under construction. New construction underway includes a Starbucks Coffee off Interstate 44, and an HTeaO on 4th St.
Housing
Multiple companies are expanding their housing developments throughout Chickasha. For more information, see our housing page.
